PROJECT CONSULTANCY
A defined goal, delivered properly.
Some work isn't ongoing, it's a job that needs doing right: a mountain of FRA actions, a high-rise to bring up to standard, a fire strategy to commission. We take it on as a structured project, with a clear scope, a staged plan, and an end point.
MANAGED OR PROJECT?
Where this differs from the managed service
The managed service is an ongoing function. We become your fire safety department and stay there, month after month.
Project consultancy is different. It's a defined piece of work with a beginning and an end, brought in to reach a specific goal. You might run a project alongside a managed relationship, or entirely on its own.
If you know what you need done and need it delivered properly, that's a project. If you need someone to own compliance continuously, that's the managed service.
TYPICAL PROJECTS
The work we're most often brought in for
Every project is scoped to its goal. These are the ones we take on most.
FRA action plans
A risk assessment leaves you hundreds of actions of every kind. We give you a systematic way through them, prioritised and closed out in order.
See fire risk assessments →Fire door & stopping surveys
Structured surveys and reviews of fire doors and compartmentation, with clear findings you can act on rather than a raw list.
See fire door governance →Technical notes & reviews
Independent technical notes to review, justify or omit specific requirements where a blanket recommendation doesn't fit the building.
See fire strategies →Design-stage consultation
Getting the right doors and details specified at design stage, and helping tender and procure before mistakes get built in.
See fire strategies →Building Safety Act works
Addressing the safety case, evidence and remedial gaps that apply to higher-risk buildings, delivered as a staged, managed programme.
See Building Safety Act →Fire strategy commissioning
Commissioning a proper fire strategy to define what the building actually requires, not just what an assessment assumed.

All nine services, on a defined basis
Each example above used a different combination. Pick one, or pick several.
A new hotel manager inherited an enforcement notice. We ran it end to end, and the enforcement visit cleared.
See the case →HOW WE RUN A PROJECT
Staged, so nothing runs away with itself
Large pieces of work fail when they're tackled all at once. We run projects in stages: define the real requirement first, agree the scope and sequence, then deliver in controlled phases with clear checkpoints.
That means you always know what's been done, what's next, and what it's costing, with no open-ended drift.
Define
We establish what the building actually requires, before any work is scoped.
Scope
We agree the work, the sequence and the checkpoints, with no open-ended drift.
Deliver
We deliver in controlled phases, so you always know what's done and what's next.
Close & Handover
We close the project out against its goal, with a full evidence pack handed over so what's been done — and why — is on the record for whoever picks it up next.
